Throughout their careers, The Tragically Hip were well known for their philanthropic endeavors. They were always very involved with their community, performing numerous benefit shows and supporting a long list of charitable organizations along the way.

Ahead By A Century is proud to continue in this tradition by supporting (through proceeds from it’s merchandise sales) the following charities:

Founded in 2001, Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation (SCHF) strives to improve healthcare for children across Alberta. It traces its history back to 1978 when the Northern Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation began to advocate for a new children’s hospital in Edmonton. The Stollery Children’s Hospital is the most specialized children’s hospital in Western Canada and it serves the largest geographic area of any children’s hospital in North America.

Founded in 1938, Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) supports those affected by cancer and funds cancer research. It also advocates for policy change. An estimated two in five Canadians will develop cancer in their lifetime. One in four Canadians will die of cancer. When you donate to CCS, you fund the brightest minds in cancer research to improve and save the lives of people with all types of cancer.
